Prices were very satisfactory with a wide range of bidders from across the UK and Europe. Top price was a KV 6 Furrow Rev Plough which made £19,700, followed closely by the Case MX 135 Tractor at £16,700 and the NH TC56 Combine at £16,100.

Border Livestock Exchange were delighted to have been instructed to conduct a Retiral Farm Sale on behalf of J Campbell & Sons, Maidenhall Farm, St Boswells and Andrew S Lambie, Pomathorn Farm, Penicuik, included in the November general machinery auction.

A very buoyant trade was experienced throughout, with popular brands of well maintained equipment that were extremely well bid for.

The JD 6155M 70 Reg topped the day at £59,000 from J Campbell & Sons, Maidenhall.

This was followed closely by the NH T6.180 Tractor with Loader, 68 Reg from Andrew S Lambie, Pomathorn at £58,500.
