Kelso Ram Sales 2018

A tremendous run of strong commercial rams were keenly bid for from the minute Mr Jimmy Jeffrey Kersknowe rang the starting bell.

By the time the second ram of the day came in trade had already passed the £1000 mark and reached £1200 from Bowsden Moor.

Top price for the Ring was £3,000, fittingly from a great Kelso supporter JS Dun & Partners Catcune as this was their last year , selling to a well known local Texel breeder CD Scott Falla , Jedburgh .

At the show prior to the sale Crumhaughhill won 1st place and the champion which sold for £1600. 2nd place Bowsden Moor x £1200, 3rd place x Sharplaw Farms x £900, 4th place Sydenham x £1500 , 5th place Muircleugh x £600 , 6th place Catslackburn x £920 .
